Summer
From June to September the plateau is warm, flower-filled and perfect for hiking. Trails start from the apartment door, with Texel Nature Park and the Dolomites nearby.
Winter
Reliable snowfall, snowshoeing from the door and Merano 2000 ski area just 15 minutes away make Verano a superb winter base.
Getting There
Verano is easy to reach by car from the A22 motorway, or by train and cable car from Merano. Free parking at the apartment.
Merano
One of the most elegant towns in the Alps, just 20 minutes away. Thermal baths, the famous Trauttmansdorff Gardens, great restaurants and a beautiful old town.
Bolzano
South Tyrol's vibrant capital, 30 minutes by car. Home to Ötzi the Iceman, a stunning old town, excellent markets and a thriving restaurant scene.
